How to use Notion on your watch using Hopper
Notion is an all-in-one workspace for notes, docs, and databases, and with Hopper AI on your Wear OS watch, you can capture ideas, search pages, and manage your workspace using voice commands — no phone needed.
Overview
The Notion integration connects Hopper to your Notion workspace through the official Notion MCP server. Once connected, you can:
- Create pages with titles and content in any workspace or database
- Search across your entire workspace by keyword
- Update pages by appending content or modifying existing blocks
- Query databases to check task trackers, CRMs, reading lists, and more
- Draft documents like meeting notes, PRDs, or quick reference pages
All of this works through simple voice commands on your watch.
Setup
Connecting Notion to Hopper takes about a minute.
- Open the Hopper companion app on your phone.
- Tap the Tools icon in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap Add MCP Server in the top right.
- Enter the Notion MCP server URL:
https://mcp.notion.com/mcp
- Tap Connect. You'll be redirected to Notion's login page.
- Sign in to your Notion account and select the workspace pages you want Hopper to access.
- Once authorized, you'll be taken back to the Hopper app. The Notion MCP server is now connected.
That's it — Hopper can now read, create, and update pages and databases in your Notion workspace.
For more details on the Notion MCP server, see the official Notion MCP documentation.

| "Find my meeting notes from the design review" | Searches for pages with matching titles or content |
| "Look up the product roadmap in Notion" | Returns matching pages across your workspace |
| "Search for anything about budget planning" | Searches all accessible pages by keyword |
Update a Page
Add content to or modify existing pages.

| "Update the Weekly Standup notes with a new section for blockers" | Adds a new section to the page |
| "Append action items to the Design Review page" | Adds content at the end of the page |
Check a Database

| "Check my CRM for entries about Acme Corp" | Searches a database for matching records |

Create Documents
Draft meeting notes, PRDs, or quick docs from your wrist.
| Try saying | What Hopper does |
|---|---|
| "Create a meeting notes page for the Monday standup" | Creates a new page with a structured title |
| "Draft a PRD called Mobile Notifications Redesign" | Creates a new document page with the given title |
| "Start a new doc called Trip Itinerary with flights and hotel sections" | Creates a page with initial content |
| "Create a page called Interview Questions for the PM role" | Creates a new page ready for content |
Tips
- Name pages clearly — Hopper uses your words to match against page titles, so descriptive names like "Q2 Marketing Plan" are easier to find and update than vague ones.
- Organize with databases — if you frequently capture the same type of note (journal entries, tasks, reading items), set up a Notion database first so Hopper can add entries directly to it.
- Combine title and content in one command — instead of creating a page and then updating it, say everything at once: "Create a note called Lunch Ideas with sushi, tacos, and Thai food."
